A very Happy Christmas to you all from the Parents Association. We are so grateful for the support given to our last 2 events. The cake sale held on Friday 28th November was the biggest the school has ever had. There was huge excitement and enthusiasm from the pupils. We were delighted with the amounts of baked goods brought in and sold. We raised €965 from the sale and also donated leftover unopened treats to the Vincent de Paul.
The Book Fair was also a huge success. With sales of over €6,000 the school has earned a commission of €3,600 to spend on books/ literacy resources for the school. This will be a great boost to the new library that has been set up the converted gym room in the school.
Our final fundraiser for 2018 is a Christmas jumper (or other festive attire such as a hat) day on Wednesday 19th December. We are asking for a donation of €1/2. The pupils will also attend mass/ carol singing in the church at 10.15am that morning. All welcome to attend.
Looking forward to lots more events in 2019, to support our schools IT and science needs.
