Attached some information for your consideration.
The focus for the ongoing work in the school this week is the organisation of the classroom layout and the impact the socially distancing requirement of 1 metre has on the plan.
We are hoping to have an option for the storage of our surplus furniture and all our invaluable resources locally. I have informed the Department of this matter.
We are installing warm water in all 18 classroom toilets.
And the yard markings for all the class Bubbles has to be done also.
Please know that we are endeavoring to work tirelessly as a school community to ensure a safe re -opening as near to the 1st of September as is possible. However the minor works within the school is ongoing. I will issue a further update following the Board meeting tomorrow evening.
The COVID-19 Committee meeting is on Thursday evening on site to evaluate the progress of work.
Staff are working remotely planning for the provision of a smooth transition prioritizing the Well- being of the pupils.
We are having a virtual Staff meeting on Monday to discuss the logistics of the School Response Plan.
We are proposing that all Parents will be provided with an opportunity to have a zoom meeting with the class Teacher Thursday the 27th August, evening time.
Follow up then will be the Class Teacher will facilitate a zoom meet up with the class on Friday the 28th.
