Easter message

Easter Message

Easter is a joyous time – spring is in the air, the birds are singing, and the days ahead will be brighter as we turn the clock back an hour.

It is a time to reflect and be grateful for the many blessings in our lives. To remember loved ones we have lost, but who are still with us in spirit. And a time to look forward to the summer and better times ahead.

As we reflect on the past 12 months since last Easter, as a school community, we can give thanks that we had the resilience and strength to endure the many challenges that this strange new normal has brought to all of our lives. Thankfully, our school transitioned well to working remotely and the children embraced their on-line classes. Our school has remained safe and COVID-free since our return to the building. This is due in no small part to the hard work and dedication of our Staff, our Childrens’ adherence to our School protocols, and the cooperation and support of our Parents.

I hope that you get to enjoy the longer and hopefully brighter days ahead and that you adhere to the government health advice, so that we may all resume school safely after the Easter break.

We wish all our Children, Parents, Parents Association, and Staff, a very happy and safe Easter Holiday.

Back to School!

Our children were delighted to return to School and be re-united with their friends. The Staff settled the children back into our School routines and protocols and concentrated on their Well-being and a gentle easing back into schoolwork.

School re-opens, all going well, on Monday, 12th April. Our last term promises to be a busy one, for Staff and Children alike, so we hope that everyone comes back refreshed after the holidays.

Enrolment is still open for 3rd class for September 2021.

Parents please note that we still have some vacancies for 3rd class in September 2021.

Please see our school website for details, where you will find application forms and related details. School office is secretary should you have any queries.

Some of the fabulous Easter displays that the children have been busy working on this past week. Happy Easter everyone!

Some of the lovely tribute posters produced in honour of Frontline workers from the children in our school. The children are very aware of how hard all of our Frontline workers are working every day to keep us all safe and protected.

Mrs Fosters 5th walked along the beach to take a closer look at the features of the River Nanny. The children documented and sketched and enjoyed the fresh air.

On their return they created sea creatures using clay and natural materials. The resulting creations were astounding! Including tiny Tim, a baby sea turtle, a blobby Fish and even new species including an "Enplaning Colossus" and a "Megalomania" (which is the width of a school and 10 buildings high!)

The creative modellers hard at work creating their wonderful pieces.
