Graduation speech by Principal on 24th June 2024

You are all very welcome to our fabulous new school, and we are especially delighted that we could host this 6th class Graduation in our new gym hall for the 6th classes. We are delighted that they have had the opportunity to experience a few days in the new school.

A word of thanks to Fr Denis for a lovely celebration in the Church this morning.

Esteemed Teachers, proud Parents and of course our wonderful 6th class pupils, Today is a day of celebration, reflection and anticipation. Today marks a significant milestone in our lives as we gather here to celebrate the completion of primary school education for our 6th classes.
We gather here to honour and applaud our incredible 6th class pupils who have spent the last four years growing, learning and thriving within the walls of the school.
It is with great pride that we celebrate their transition to post primary school.

To our Pupils:

As you stand on the threshold of a new and exciting journey, I want you to take a moment to reflect on how far you have come. Four years ago, you walked into this school with wide eyes and eager hearts ready to embrace new challenges and make new friends.
You have faced those challenges with courage, curiosity and resilience. You have shown us what it means to work hard, to be kind and to never give up.
Over these years, you have grown not just in height but in character and wisdom.
You have learned to solve problems, to express your ideas clearly, and to think critically about the world around you.
More importantly, you have learned the value of empathy, respect and integrity.
These qualities will serve you as you move forward into post primary school and beyond.
As you leave our school and step into this new chapter, remember that learning is a lifelong journey. Embrace it with the same enthusiasm and determination that you have shown here.
Post primary school, will bring new subjects, new Teachers and new friends. It will also bring new challenges and but I am confident that you are ready to face them.
You have the tools, the knowledge and the spirit to achieve great things.

To the Parents and Families:

Thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement as you entrusted us with your child’s education
Your involvement in your child’s education has been invaluable and your partnership with our school has made all the difference. Together we have nurtured these young minds and prepared them for the road ahead.

Your impact on their lives is immeasurable, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.

And to our graduating classes:

You are ready. Take with you the lessons you have learned, the friendships you have made and the values you hold dear. As you embark on this new journey, remember that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to.
